TICKETS are now on sale for a balloon race in aid of Bury Hospice.
The Friends of Close Park are holding the race on Saturday, March 29, to mark the start of work on a new sensory garden.
It will be dedicated to two young mums, Clare Patterson and Lesley Anne Wynn, who both died at the hospice in September, 2006. Organisers hope that their children will launch the balloons.
