SHAKERS’ fans can really toast their club’s 125th anniversary in 2010.

The sixth Forever Bury Beer Festival has been moved from the end of February to April 22-24 next year as April 24 marks the day the club was formed.

The five festivals have raised more than £47,000, with this year’s total of £11,182 smashing all records. Dave Giffard, chairman of the supporters’ trust and beer festival organiser, said: “I’m delighted that all the main sponsorships have been taken up and 14 of the 46 drinks have sponsors.
