CAMPAIGNERS are to quiz planning experts about a Premiership football star’s plans to build an eco-home on greenbelt land.
A public meeting is being held to discuss Gary Neville’s proposals for the development at his Harwood estate.
Cllr Paul Brierley will chair the meeting at Harwood Methodist Church hall from 7pm on Tuesday. Those fighting the plans have joined together to form a campaign group called RAGE (Rise Against Greenbelt Exploitation).
Residents said they are upset because members of the Bolton Council’s planning committee met with Mr Neville to hear about his plans before he made an application.
