A LEADING brass band from Cornwall is to give a concert at Bury Parish Church this month.
St Austell Town Band, who will be conducted by Aaron Harvey, will be joined by Dr Roy Newsome, a member of the church congregation and well-known brass band personality.
Roy has conducted St Austell in some of its recent engagements and has helped co-ordinate the concert.

Also taking part will be soprano singer Alison Harvey and the Bury organist David Newsholme.
The event will take place on Saturday May 17, starting at 7.30pm and all proceeds will be donated to All Saints New Church building fund.
Tickets priced £10 are on sale from Bury Tourist Information Centre, Market Street, or the offices at Bury Parish Church (0161 764 2452) or St Francis House (0161) 797 1595.
