FC United are going for a change of sport on Bank Holiday Monday.

A team made of players and fans will play at Bury Cricket Club, off Radcliffe Road, in a 20-20 competition, which gets under way at 11am. The day will consist of two semi-finals and a final.

Other entertainment includes the band Monkey's Punk', celebrity bowl-out, bouncy castle, penalty shoot-out, raffle, barbecue, and a bar with refreshments.

Karl Marginson, manager of FC United who use Gigg Lane, said: "It's going to be a fantastic day and a good laugh. Last time I played was for Moss Brook High School and we were all out for 16." Entry is £1 for adults and 50p for children.
