A Summerseat company is boxing clever and already has ring champions Ricky Hatton and Scott Quigg under its belt.

Four years after its launch, web design, creative print and digital marketing firm Rocknine, is continuing to go for growth with the aim of expanding and winning prestigious contracts from top London agencies.

Rocknine, at The Gatehouse, was set up by Craig Duerden, owner and creative director. The graphic design graduate has spearheaded the firm’s success along with colleague, designer Steven Cavanagh.

Craig, aged 32, explained: “Rocknine’s first job involved business promotional print branding and web work for Ricky Hatton.

“We also did the website for Scott Quigg. And we were responsible for all the promotional work for Ricky Hatton’s comeback fight, including videography, print, advertising and marketing. Other clients have included the BBC and clothes firm Barbour.”

Craig said: “We’ve really been working hard and things have gone better than I could have imagined. Obviously, it was great to get Steven on board as he comes with the same mindset as me and is a passionate designer. He very much comes from the same background too.

“We have built up a host of clients in all different industries, including sports and recruitment companies, IT, restaurants and salons and much of it is through word of mouth.

“We are a young company and have just put our new website live with the aim this year of growing and expanding on our increasing client base.”

One of Craig’s major objectives is to compete with the “big boys” and to do work for leading London agencies. He added: “We want to go on to the next level by taking on more staff, one digital account manager and a web designer.

“I want to see the company grow and to improve our turnover and to land bigger and better clients.”
