A Bury retreat has improved some of its guest facilities as part of a new financing package.

The Red Hall Hotel has invested in state-of-the-art media technology in its corporate function suites and revamped Legends Restaurant after securing a funding package from NatWest.

The actual sum is undisclosed.

Located in Walmersley, the hotel has 37 high specification bedrooms, a full restaurant, function rooms for weddings and other events and a wide range of conference facilities.

The Red Hall Hotel is owned by the Thornsett Vale group.

After working with another bank for a number of years, the group’s finance director Neil Hopkins-Coman decided it was the right time for the business to see what other banking options were available.

He was introduced to NatWest relationship manager Jon Halliday and made the decision to start working with him.

Neil said: “Jon and his team have been extremely professional and helpful to deal with.”

Jon added: “The Red Hall Hotel, together with its sister hotel in Cumbria, the Abbey House Hotel, are great businesses in a beautiful part of the world.

"I was delighted to support the Thornsett Vale group on this latest project and wish them every success for the future.”
