NEW research has revealed that the north of England is a more desirable location than the south for many jobseekers.
The results of a study commissioned by digital marketing recruitment agency, the Candidate, flies in the face of traditional thinking on which part of the country enjoys the best employment opportunities.
A total of 54 per cent of employees surveyed said they would choose to work in a northern city if they were given a choice, with 46 per cent saying they would be willing to relocate to London.
