Bury-based Cormar Carpets has been named ‘Supplier of the Year’ for the 13th consecutive time by buying group, Flooring One.

In recognition of its commitment to high quality products, staff investment and servicing the flooring industry, the award was presented to Cormar Carpets at the Buying Groups National Flooring Show held at Flooring One’s head office in Solihull.

The award is voted on by all members of the buying group, with scores based on delivery performance, quality and response to quality issues, products and sales support/communication.

“We’re delighted to, once again, be recognised for all the dedication and commitment from our Cormar team,” said David Judge, managing director at Cormar Carpets. “We really do pride ourselves on continually producing new ranges and provide industry leading delivery, excellent product quality and first class customer service.”

Cormar continues to produce all its wool and polypropylene carpet ranges from its two production sites near Bury in Lancashire. It also has its own fleet of over 60 distribution vehicles to ensure a top class delivery service to customers, as well as its own team of 28 sales representatives throughout Britain and Ireland.

Cormar Carpets is one of the UK’s most successful independent carpet producers with some one million people a year buying a Cormar carpet.
