A RADCLIFFE-based training provider has reinforced the benefits of apprenticeships following a Government announcement to refocus adult education in the UK.
The move by Alliance Learning comes after Lord Mandelson disclosed that 35,000 new apprenticeships are being introduced.
From next year, every adult is to receive an online personal skills account when they turn 19, documenting their qualifications and setting out their options for further training.
Alliance stresses that many employers are still unaware of the value an apprentice can add to the commercial development of their workforce.
Chief executive Steve Whitehead commented: “It is important that employers are made aware of the benefits an apprentice can bring to their business and we urge anyone unsure about the conditions surrounding apprenticeships to contact us for a no obligation chat.”
