No looking back for mirror men

ON reflection, thi-ngs are certainly looking good for Wing Mirror Man.

The Bury firm is launching its own product brand as the company drives forward for the future.

The successful business was launched four years ago by friends Steven Speed and Phlip Seaton from the humble surroundings of Philip’s bedroom.

Today, the thriving company is based at the Woolfold Industrial Estate on Stewart Street.

And the shrewd move to launch its own branded mirrors is part of the firm’s next phase in its plans for growth.

The company provides brand new wing mirrors to the public and the car trade. In fact, the business supplies wing mirrors of 29 vehicle manufacturers, covering more than 500 car models, and in excess of 2,000 different types and makes of wing mirrors.

Steven Speed, a partner at Wing Mirror Man, said: “Selling our own branded mirrors is part of our plans for the next phase of growth.

“It is also driven by the desire to have more control on the quality of the mirrors that we are supplying to our cust- omers.”

Since Wing Mirror Man was established in January, 2006, the company now employs eight people. The business is looking to move premises for a second time in just more than 12 months.

Added Steven: “The growth of our business over the last four years shows that car owners across the UK and Ireland welcome this new competition.”
