POLICE in Radcliffe have put out a warning after a spate of thefts from cars which may have been left unlocked.
During the night of Monday September 29, a satellite navigation system was stolen from a vehicle parked in Overton Close.
The same night, loose change and costume jewellery was pinched by burglars from a car in Suthers Street.
A car in Stonemere Drive was also targeted when offenders stole a security helmet from its boot.
At 3.15am on Tuesday, September 30, two burglars were caught on CCTV taking a Mulberry handbag containing cash from a vehicle parked in Glenwood Close.
A spokesman for Radcliffe community policing team said: “There have been a number of thefts recently from vehicles when owners are not sure if they locked their car.
“Could you please check to make sure your vehicles are locked and secure when leaving them unattended.”
