A BUS firm has confirmed it will continue offering lower fares on a popular route.
Transdev, which runs the Witch Way service from Nelson to Manchester via Burnley, Rossendale, Ramsbottom and Prestwich, cut fares after 7pm in a six-week trial.
It will mean, for instance, passengers boarding at Prestwich can now buy a single-journey ticket for £3 rather than £4.50
The firm said more people used the service during the trial.
Its operations director John Threlfall said: "There is clearly a demand for competitively priced travel at this time of day, when people are going to and from work or college, visiting friends and family, or getting home from a night out."
The discount also applies on some other Transdev routes.
