POPULAR author Bali Rai visited Bedford High School in Leigh to meet some of the pupils who had impressed him with their editing skills.

He spoke to a group of Year 8 pupils about his inspirations and experiences as a writer.

Bali read extracts from his book 'Revenge Of The Number 2' and answered questions about his life's work.

As part of the Barrington Stoke Reading Consultants Scheme, some pupils from the group had edited his book 'Are You Kidding'.

Rai was delighted to meet the pupils who had edited his book and insisted on having his picture taken with them for his own website www.balirai.com
