I am researching the career of Joe McGee, stage name Joe Crosbie.
Joe lived in Plank Lane, Leigh, in the late 40s and 50s. He was a great comic playing variety and pantomime in the Northern Theaters.
I have some details of shows he appeared in but would dearly love to have more information about Joe, his life and work, and perhaps his descendants.
I know he had a son Micheal who I believed played the trumpet.
Any information would be helpful.
