HOLLYWOOD star Lindsay Lohan was left dismayed at Bury's Leave vote last night.
The actress, best known for her starring roles in Mean Girls and Freaky Friday, took to social media as EU referendum results came in from across the country.
The 29-year-old, who said she once lived in Manchester, was shocked as it was announced that 54 per cent of Bury’s voters had backed the Brexit campaign and tweeted: “#bury what's wrong with you manchester??????”
In a series of tweets that have since been deleted, she also said: “for the love of #themajestyherqueen can we please #REMAIN and READ BEFORE WE SPEAK?”
@lindsaylohan I'm sorry. I'm as disappointing as you are but the people of Bury have spoken and we have to respect that. @BuryTimes
