Passengers flying from Terminal Three are being advised to go to Terminal One for more information.

People posted videos on social media of crowds of people gathered outside the terminal buildings, as well as on the runway.

At update from the airport at lunchtime said: "Just 6 Ryanair flights listed before are arriving into T2.

"All other T3 flights are arriving into T1. An update on T3 departures will follow."

Parts of terminal one were evacuated yesterday after a fire alarm was set off following a water leak.

Just after 12.30pm, police released a statement to say the incident is not believed to be terror-related.

It said: "Officers responded and a precautionary evacuation of terminal three has taken place.

"Bomb disposal officers attended and a series of controlled explosions were carried out of the package.

"Following further inspections, the package is not believed to be a viable device and there is not believed to be any threat at this time.

"This is not believed to be terror-related and cordons will be lifted in due course."
