THE NHS is recruiting nurses in Bury.
Nurses and students were invited to an open day on Friday to land themselves one of many nursing jobs available in the region.
The event, at The Hive in Manchester from 10am to 5pm, gave prospective employees the chance to learn more about a range of community and mental health nursing roles which help to improve the lives of local people.
Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting band 5 nurses to a number of positions which span Bury, Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale, Oldham, Stockport, Tameside and Glossop, and Trafford.
Attendees were able to speak to experienced and knowledgeable clinical staff from a range of services and backgrounds about what it’s like to work for Pennine Care.
Nurses who are already qualified, or about to qualify, got the chance to be interviewed on the day – with successful candidates leaving with a job offer.
