TWO lanes of the M60 were blocked after a crash near Prestwich this afternoon.
Drivers were warned to expect delays on the clockwise section of the motorway following the collision between junction 16 and 17, which happened shortly before 4pm.
Highways England confirmed that recovery vehicles had arrived at the scene by 4.40pm and the lanes were re-opened shortly after.
On the #M60 c/wise J16 - J17 near #Prestwich, recovery trucks have removed the vehicles involved in the collision. Closed lanes re-opened.
