A BUS company will be offering free travel to military personnel on Remembrance Sunday.
Armed forces personnel carrying a military ID card and veteran’s wearing a veteran badge will be able to travel on Stagecoach Manchester transport free of charge.
The company will also be placing poppies on each of its 750 buses across Manchester.
Managing director Elisabeth Tasker said: “Once again, we are proud to be supporting Remembrance Sunday in this way by offering free travel on our services to armed forces personnel.
“We hope we can send a clear message to our armed forces communities in Manchester that we appreciate and recognise the commitment they have made to our country.”
