TIME is running out to purchase tickets for a very magical performance this weekend.

The Tangled Dance Company is putting on a Christmas show with a twist this year inside Heaton Hall.

The troupe will perform their new show, Frosted by Magic, during which rooms in the historic hall will be taken over by dancers and musicians.

Guests must follow the story of wizards, magic and Christmas as it weaves its way through the hall in an hour long promenade performance.

As well as a fun festive treat, the show is a chance to look inside the hall, which is normally closed.

Tangled-founder Amy Hallam, aged 26, is the artistic director of the performance. She said: “A promenade performance is where the audience follow the characters in the production from room to room as the story unfolds through dance and music.”

This year will mark the third time Tangled has opened the doors of the Heaton Park hall to give families a winter treat.

The first shows are this Saturday and Sunday. Other shows are the weekends of 9-10 December and 16-17 December. Performances are at 2pm and 4pm. Tickets are £8 for adults and £6 for children. They can be purchased at The Stables Cafe in Heaton Park or online at skiddle.com by searching Heaton Park.
