ANOTHER man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Prestwich.
Earlier today police officers in Bury Borough arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder.
The arrest is in connection to an incident in Glebelands Road on Monday, November 27.
Police were called to reports that a 49-year-old man had been shot after three masked men forced their way into a house.
The victim, John Louden, has since been released from hospital and is recovering from his serious injuries.
Four men have also been charged with attempted murder as part of the investigation and are due to stand trial at Manchester Crown Court later this year.
They are Anthony Ward, aged 29, of Braithwaite Road, Middleton.
Dominic Burke, aged 20, of Whinfell Drive, Middleton.
Waseem Ahmed, aged 29, of Crumpsall Avenue, Manchester.
Steven O’Donnell, aged 24, of Carr Avenue, Prestwich.
They did not enter pleas when they appeared in court for a hearing on Wednesday.
