YOUNG people aged from 11 to 19 will soon be able to enjoy a range of educational and fun activities at Elms Community Centre, Green Lane, Whitefield after a funding bid was approved.

ELMS Community Centre, in Green Lane, Whitefield, will launch a playgroup for toddlers thanks to a £2,905 grant from Whitefield and Unsworth Local Area Partnership, which was agreed at its last meeting on November 18. It will pay for toys, equipment, furniture and room divider screens.
