A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after a 34-year-old man was stabbed in Radcliffe.
Kelvin Richards, aged 29, of Carrslea Close, Radcliffe, has been charged after the incident, which is alleged to have happened at about 12.55am yesterday in Melrose Road, on the Abbey Close estate.
Richards is due to appear at Bury Magistrates Court today.
A 30-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has since been released without charge.
The alleged victim, a 34-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he is said to be in a stable condition.
