SUPER slimmers handed over chocolate eggs to give women and children at Fortalice something to smile about over Easter.
Sharon Green, who runs four Slimming World groups at Trinity Baptist Church in Radcliffe, encouraged her members to lose the pounds to help others.
Fortalice, in Farnworth, is an emergency shelter for women and children who are escaping domestic violence.
Sharon said: “We usually collect, fundraise and donate to Fortalice a couple of times a year, giving unwanted clothes, food collections and children’s toys.
“I could not be more proud of my members for all the support they show in trying to help others who are less fortunate.
“Knowing we have made several families happy, and knowing some children will not go without this Easter, makes us overjoyed.”
