A CHARITY tea party held to raise money for a Radcliffe woman hoping to have life-changing surgery that could allow her to walk collected more than £380 last weekend.
The event, at the ROC Centre, was in aid of Lauren Rawlinson, who suffers from cerebral palsy and is fundraising to pay for a selective dorsal rhizotomy.
Lauren and her family are hoping to raise £21,000 to pay for the operation, which reduces tight muscle tone and is usually only offered to children.
Professional pool player Karl Boyes, who is from Radcliffe, has donated the shirt he wore for December's Mosconi Cup to be auctioned in aid of Lauren's Dare to Dream.
