A TEAM of young air cadets were flying the flag for Radcliffe as winners of a volleyball competition.
The squad from Radcliffe Air Cadets won the right to represent the 35 Greater Manchester wings against the best teams from five other northern regions.
After travelling to Linton-on-Ouse in North Yorkshire, the Radcliffe team went unbeaten in their matches against representatives from the Central and East Yorkshire, Cumbria and Lancashire, Durham and Northumberland, and South and West Yorkshire wings.
Anyone interested in joining the squadron can attend meetings on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 7.30pm at the group's base in Knowles Street.
