CHRIST Church Ainsworth Primary School claimed a hat-trick of successes after coming out on top again in the Bury Junior Schools Athletics Championships.
The tournament, held at Bury Athletics Club on June 27, saw schools from across the borough competing in a variety of track and field events.
The team of 20 children from Christ Church on Tommy Lane won seven gold medals from the 14 finals, plus a silver and bronze, to win the championship by a 22-point margin.
Headteacher Dave Gerrard said: "We have got some very talented kids here and the staff, Mrs Ainsworth and Miss Hawkins, have worked very hard too.
"To win for the third year running and by such a big margin is a great achievement."
