A CONVOY of mobility scooters descended on Radcliffe town centre on Saturday as charitable residents from Red Bank Extra Care Scheme raised money for Cancer Research UK.
Stephen Lawson, Bryan Seddon, and Bernie and Eddie Anderson - collectively known as the 'Red Bank Ravers' - were joined by Councillor Jamie Walker for the collection and raised £100.
Mr Lawson said: "It was good fun and the hope is that we will be able to do it again next year.
"There are a lot of people in the Red Bank scheme who are involved in charity work and running things like this with the Red Bank Ravers group is an excellent way of bringing us all together and giving us a bit of purpose."
