PUPILS at a Radcliffe primary school will have new opportunities for interactive learning thanks to a donation of iPads from a flooring firm.

Vinyl flooring company Polyflor, whose manufacturing site is based in Whitefield, handed out 15 iPads to Chapelfield Primary School, in Clough Street, as part of a commitment to supporting the local community.

The devices, which formerly belonged to the firm's sales team, will be used by year 5 pupils as classroom learning aids.

Headteacher Malcolm Gate said: “We are very thankful to Polyflor for their generous donation. The students love using their iPads and they are a great teaching tool the whole class can now benefit from.”
