STUDENT Nicola End is all packed and ready to go - to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro
After hitting her fundraising target of £2,990, the 19-year-old, of Oakley Close, Radcliffe, is due to jet off to Tanzania on Monday for the week-long trek up the world's tallest free-standing mountain.
Nicola, who goes to the University of Warwick, will tackle the daunting mental and physical challenge alongside 40 of her fellow students and has been training for months in preparation for the climb.
She raised the final funds she needed to meet her target by organising a raffle, with prizes donated by several local institutions including Bury FC and Slattery's.
The money will go to the Meningitis Research Foundation.
