FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a chemical incident this morning after fumes began leaking from a factory.
Three fire engines were called to the scene in Milltown Street, in Radcliffe, at 10.56am after a chemical mixture inside the building generated the fumes.
Fire crews attended in an advisory capacity and ventilated the property.
A fire service spokesman said that the building had been made safe by around 2pm and that there was no danger to people in the surrounding area.
