RADCLIFFE residents turned out in their hundreds for the town's annual carnival today.
The glorious sunshine made it a superb day for the carnival parade through the town centre and the array of fun activities taking place on Red Bank Field.
Cllr Rishi Shori, leader of Bury Council, said: "It has been an absolutely amazing day, with beautiful weather.
"It's fantastic to see the streets lined with hundreds of Radcliffe people welcoming the loud and colourful parade.
"We are all very appreciative of the hard work done by the Radcliffe Carnival committee throughout the year. They deserve a huge amount of credit for making this day another tremendous success."
The carnival continues tomorrow, with a car boot sale being held on Red Bank Field as well as the fun fair and vintage car rally.
