ELDERLY residents have been warned about a telephone scam after a con artist targeted a 92-year-old woman in Radcliffe.
Officers from GMP Radcliffe reported that the woman received a phone call from someone pretending to be from H M Revenue and Customs, who claimed that she owed them money.
A spokesman said: "Please warn any elderly relatives about this scam and tell them not to disclose their bank details."
