Warm weather is back - but how long will it last?
ANOTHER short blast of summer is here, after a mixed start to September.
Temperatures in Bolton and Bury are expected to peak at 23C today and 22C tomorrow.
The average temperature in September is 16.5C in the UK.
Highs of 19C and bright sunshine are expected on Thursday, according to the Met Office.
Nicola Maxey of the Met Office said: "Certainly for anyone in the south it's going to feel quite muggy and humid with temperatures, even further north, reaching those low 20s."
But a much more unsettled picture is expected this weekend, she said.
Rain and gales will hit the west and north west, while temperatures across the UK will be much cooler.
