CARNIVAL lovers are being urged to once again help out one of the town’s greatest traditions in 2017.
Organisers of this year’s Radcliffe Carnival are in need of volunteers to help with a variety of tasks for the event, which will be held on June 3 and 4.
Local residents are being asked to offer their services as committee members, parade marshals, field organisers, programme sellers, leaflet distributors and sound technicians.
As usual, the committee will want as many local clubs and community groups as possible to take part in the annual parade through the town centre.
Despite having to cut back on the budget for last year’s carnival, a great time was had by all and the hope is that will be the case in 2017.
To volunteer, enter the parade, or organise a display or stall on Red Bank Field, please call 07830 112123 or email wendyboardman@yahoo.com
