A GLAMOUR model has been left terrified after burglars struck at her home.

Page 3 girl Rhian Sugden was horrified after returning to her Prestwich house to find burglars had smashed their way through a window and stolen thousands of pounds worth of goods.

Miss Sugden, originally from Radcliffe, said: “I’m terrified to be in my own house as my windows were smashed through and my house has been violated.”

She said her fiancé, former Coronation Street star Oliver Mellor, was away working in London at the time, and she discovered the mess arriving home by herself.

Miss Sugden added: “I am still in shock if I’m honest. You never expect these things to happen to yourself. I think all females who are home alone are on edge at the best of time and this has just shattered my nerves.

“A lad knocked on my door the night before asking for John, and asked for a different address.

“This immediately raised suspicions, but at least I got a look of him so if I saw him again I would know who he was. I am guessing he may have been scoping out the area and seeing who was in? The police said that is what burglars normally do beforehand.”

The model has also hit back at claims in some national tabloids that ‘sex secrets’ might have been stolen, including a sex tape on her laptop.

Miss Sugden said: “There are 100 per cent no ‘sex secrets’ on my laptop like certain publications have printed, just my new business – Toolboxxx.com – which I run from my laptop.

“So it has been a struggle over the last few days to ensure my business has carried on running as normal.”

Police confirmed they were called to a burglary on Thursday February 23 at Miss Sugden’s Prestwich address.

It is believed the break-in happened between 1.30pm and 6.30pm.

A GMP spokesman confirmed forensic teams investigated the crime scene.

A variety of expensive goods such as a laptop, TV box and camera were taken.
