A GANG of teens shot at a woman and a man with an air rifle after an argument in Radcliffe on Tuesday evening.
The couple were sitting overlooking the River Irwell when a group of between five and seven youths approached. A row ensued before the group began shooting at them with a ‘long rifle.’
A GMP spokesman said: “We got a call at about 5pm to Sion Street to reports of a male and female in an altercation with youths. Shots were then fired at them with a air rifle, but didn’t hit them.” Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
