RESIDENTS are being invited to roll up their sleeves and join a big clean up on a popular walking and cycling trail.
A community litter pick, will be held on Outwood Trail at 9.30am on Saturday March 24.
People are asked to meet at Radcliffe McDonald’s at 9.15am and participants will return to the restaurant at 11.30am for food and a hot beverage as a thank you.
The event has been organised by Simon Toft and his team from Radcliffe McDonald’s, where a number of litter pick volunteers have come forward, and Radcliffe West Councillor Rishi Shori, who is supplying litter pickers, bags and the removal of the waste.
Cllr Shori said: “I am really pleased we have been able to arrange this event jointly with McDonald’s to clear litter from the Outwood Trail.
“We would welcome as many volunteers from the community as possible to attend. It’s everyone’s responsibility to keep our environment clean and tidy.”
