CELEBRATIONS were under way at a Radcliffe school as pupils prepared for tomorrow's royal wedding.
St Andrew's CE VA Primary School held a street party and outdoor picnic on Friday lunchtime to mark the occasion.
Children and staff alike wore golden crowns as they sat to enjoy their picnic at 12noon on the eve of Prince Harry's and Meghan Markle's special day.
Year 6 pupils at the school said in a joint statement: "The teachers treated us to a giant outdoor buffet with dancing and music.
"We had lots of fun with our friends.
"It was a very joyous event celebrating Meghan and Harry's special day."
St Andrew's was just one of several schools, care homes and other establishments to host a celebration party.
