YOUNGSTERS at a Ramsbottom school have been brushing up on their dental hygiene.
Year four pupils at Peel Brow Primary in Fir Street have recently been studying teeth as part of their work.
Caitlin Archer Patterson and Kayleigh White created models of teeth and gums to help with their learning, and Caitlin said the topic has helped her to remember to brush regularly.
She said: “It has been an interesting topic, I knew it was important to brush my teeth and now I know about incisors and molars and what they do.”
Sue Field, year four teacher, added: “The whole class have shown a good understanding of teeth, and have been coming in and letting me know that they have remembered to brush their teeth before they went to bed and before they came into school in the morning.”
