THE Mayor of Bury joined fun-loving participants for an annual three-legged race on Saturday.
Seven teams took part in this year's race from the Waggon and Horses in Hawkshaw to the Grey Mare in Ramsbottom, with Cllr Stella Smith handing out prizes to the winners and for the best fancy dress.
Competitors had to collect tokens from 12 different venues along the route, with proceeds from the event benefitting Peel Lions Club.
Sean Hill, the club's President, said: "The race is in its 11th year now and although we had a lot of out usual teams on holiday this year, it was very well supported by the people of Ramsbottom and Tottington as always."
