BOSSES at a Ramsbottom nursery are celebrating after receiving another glowing Ofsted report.

Tiddlywinks Nursery School, in Square Street, was given an ‘outstanding’ rating after it was inspected in August.

The nursery was praised for its level of teaching and encouraging children to ‘keep trying’ during activities.

Inspector Stephanie Nixon said in the report: “Teaching across the nursery is very strong.

“Enthusiastic and committed staff provide children with a range of challenging and exciting learning opportunities.

“This results in all children being motivated, interested and eager to learn new things.

“Staff are highly skilled in allowing children to select their own resources and learn independently, providing support only when needed.

“Staff support children to solve problems themselves and 'keep trying' – this fosters a supportive learning environment where all children, including those with special education needs/and or disabilities make exceptional progress.”

Deputy manager Danielle Rowlands said: “It’s fantastic. You never know what you’re going to get but we tried so hard to maintain our outstanding rating and were over the moon when we got it again.

“We will keep working to make sure we uphold it and I am so proud and thankful of all the girls here working so hard.”
