A MAN was rescued from the roof of a shop in a busy town centre.
Fire crews from Ramsbottom and police officers talked down the 27-year-old man from the roof of the Bury Hospice shop in Square Street, Ramsbottom at around 8.30pm on Thursday, August 3.
The road was closed while firemen used a nine foot ladder to bring the man to safety at 9.30pm.
