A COUPLE are opening up their beautiful garden to raise funds for a charity that cares for injured hedgehogs.
Anne and Andrew Ernill are inviting people to view their garden, in Tottington, for a second time, after the success of an event earlier this year.
Mrs Ernill, who is a passionate gardener, has worked hard over the last eight years to create a space that both people and wildlife can enjoy.
It features a vast array of flowers, as well as unique handmade and vintage ornamental pieces.
All funds raised from the event will be donated to Rochdale Hedgehog Rescue, which is run by Sue Lewis.
Ms Lewis and her small team of volunteers have helped to return thousands of injured hedgehogs back to good health.
The garden at 33 Beryl Avenue, Tottington, will be open on Sunday, August 6 between noon and 4.30pm.
Tea and cakes will be available and there is plenty of outdoor seating.
Wheelchair users are welcome however some of the areas in the garden will be inaccessible due to varying surface heights and shingle paths.
If weather permits parking will be available on St John’s cricket field.
