A TEENAGER who overturned a car in Ramsbottom has been banned from driving for 20 months.
At Manchester Magistrates’ Court Todd Brooks, aged 18, of Oak Avenue, Bury, pleaded guilty to careless driving and drink driving.
The court heard that Brooks had drunk almost twice the legal level of alcohol before driving a Fiat Punto, which crashed and overturned on Nuttall Lane, Ramsbottom, on the morning of Sunday August 27.
Police and the ambulance service were called to the incident after the car landed upside down on a pavement.
Brooks was also fined £230 and ordered to pay £115 in costs and charges.
