A MEETING will be held tonight to discuss concerns over crime in Ramsbottom.
Police inspector for the area, Russell Magnall, will be attending the community meeting to talk to residents and give advice on crime prevention.
It is hoped people can speak to him about what the community can do to help police keep their property safe.
Inspector Magnall will also be on hand to offer practical advice and hear residents' comments.
MP for the area, James Frith, has also been invited to the meeting.
He has said he is fighting hard in Parliament to ensure police have the funding they need to keep communities safe.
The meeting will be held at St Andrew's Primary School from 7pm and car parking will be available in the school grounds.
The meeting has been organised by Kevin Thomas, Labour local election candidate after he spoke to concerned residents.
