A RAMSBOTTOM music group are presenting a major and rarely performed choral work in a special concert.
The Ramsbottom Choral Society and Concert Orchestra will present The Season’s, the last work of Austrian composer Joseph Haydn, at Bolton Road Methodist Church at 7pm on March 24.
The diverse work moves through the seasons painting a picture of country life.
The group has been preparing for this huge piece since the start of the year and will be joined by young soloists Jessica Hope, Soprano; Andrew Masterson, Tenor; and Samuel Jackson , Bass; from the Royal Northern College of Music.
