RAMSBOTTOM Choral Society and Concert Orchestra are gearing up for their popular ‘Songs from the Shows’ summer performance in Bury.
Jessica Hope and Samuel Jackson, soloists from the Royal Northern College of Music, will join the choir for the final concert of the season, singing excerpts from Oklahoma, Die Fledermaus and Mary Poppins.
Visitors to Bolton Road Methodist Church on Saturday, May 12, can also expect solos from West Side Story, Carousel and My Fair Lady, with music by Kurt Weill.
The society also have a smaller group of singers called Andantino, who will be performing some Gilbert and Sullivan favourites, as well as items from Evita and Phantom of the Opera.
