Robbers smash up Tesco Prestwich

Sport and computers for Polefield

POLEFIELD youngsters are in for a treat after Prestwich Local Area Partnership agreed to give Polefield Tenants’ and Residents’ Association £1,851 towards a £6,503 project to provide computers and a 12-month sports activity programme in the area. More details will be announced in the coming months.

Allotments security plan rejected

ST MARGARET'S Primary School in Heywood Road, Prestwich, must go back to the drawing board in its bid to make the school allotments safer after Prestwich Local Area Partnership turned down its application for £3,000 funding for security fencing and cameras.
